While the girls were away babysitting, we ran some errands and had a nice dinner alone.
Jennifer and I went to Logan’s Roadhouse, and I ordered their seasonal special, a Double Bacon Sirloin with a Vegetable Skewer. My steak reminded me more of a filet because it was so think, and the Bourbon Bacon Glaze gave it just the right touch of sweet and spicy. However, by far the star of the show was the Skewer of Thick, Blackened Brown Sugar Bacon. I was in HEAVEN! I thought about getting the Bacon On a Stick appetizer, but I decided against it because of the bacon on my steak. I would not have appreciated the steak if I had the appetizer. In fact, I may not have wanted to even eat it.

It’s almost how your very first Thin Mint is AMAZING, but if you keep shoveling them in, you get down to the bottom of the tube with only one or two left, and you stuff them in because who can only leave that many. By that time, you’re mission has changed from enjoying them to finishing the tube. I prefer to enjoy them.
