Pecanberry Salad

For dinner tonight, I had a Pecanberry Salad from McAlister’s Deli. It featured mixed greens, fresh strawberries and blueberries, candied pecans, grilled chicken and fat-free raspberry pecan vinaigrette. I thought it was mighty tasty.

Celebrating International Sushi Day

When I read that today was International Sushi Day, I was so excited! I’ve been craving the tasty treat for days. I knew exactly what I was getting and from where. I ordered a Hiro Roll from Hiro Hibachi Express and Sushi. It was even tastier than I remembered, and the Yum Yum Sauce was just as yummy as I remembered!

Rueben with a Pickle

We had an early dinner tonight. Jennifer and Sophie grabbed us some sandwiches from McAlister’s Deli, and I couldn’t resist the Rueben with a Pickle. I ordered a bag of chips, but they didn’t make it to the house. Instead, they brought me a Macadamia Cookie, and it was tasty.

Panda Express After Our Drive

After driving home from Michigan, we were too tired to cook, but too hungry to just go to bed. So, Morgan and I took a run to Panda Express before they closed. I had Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken and Orange Chicken with a Spring Roll and Crab Rangoon.

Steak Club Sub

It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Subway, and after a busy day finishing with Morgan’s baccalaureate, she picked to go there. I chose their new Steak Club Sub on Italian Herb & Cheese Bread and a bag of Barbecue Bakes Lay’s. I’m not sure if it was because I was so hungry or what, but it tasted much better than I remembered.

Spicy Korean Beef Noodles

To celebrate Morgan’s very last day of high school and Sophie’s last day as a sophomore, we let her pick what we had for dinner. She chose noodles. I ate a batch of Spicy Korean Beef Noodles with a couple Potstickers and Garlic Bread.

Bento Box Dinner

Tonight, I had a Bento Box Dinner with Miso Soup. It included General Tso’s Chicken, Fried Rice, Two Dumplings, a Spring Roll, a Crab Rangoon and a California Roll six pack. I topped it off with a Mango Bubble Tea!

Tour de Costco Smorgasbord

I finally ended my extended Tour de Costco at the Food Court. The family wanted me to bring them their famous $1.50 hotdogs and drinks. I chose a Turkey and Provolone Sandwich with a Chicken Bake side. I can neither confirm nor deny that I may have nibbles on the Chicken Bake when stopped at red lights on the way home.

Fresh to Order

Jennifer had a Mediterranean salad with a prime steak entree and a grit cake side. My salmon was the best I’ve had all year (Ha!). Seriously, it was very tasty. It came with a small side salad, and we split an order of Tender Crispy Calamari. She doesn’t mind when it comes in little loops, but she lets me have the little ones that look like a baby octopus.
