Hongos Tacos with Street Corn

I ate Hongos Tacos, which were made of balsamic grilled mushrooms, black bean purée, chihuahua cheese, poblano rice, pico de gallo and guacamole. I paired them with Grilled Street Corn and some amazing Sweet Chili-Glazed Cracked Potatoes. Finally, I washed it down with a couple Margaritas on the rocks.

Beef Bourguinon

We tested another Pampered Chef Meal Starter Sauce and made Quick Cooker Beef Bourguinon for dinner. Sear the meat, add potatoes, carrots and the sauce, and voila! Dinner makes itself.

Ginger Sesame Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes

For dinner, we tested out a new Pampered Chef Meal Starter Sauce in the Quick Cooker. We tossed some frozen Pork Chops in and poured one jar of the Ginger Sesame Starter Sauce over it. Then, we put all the ingredients for the Mashed Potatoes into the Ceramic Pot and added it to the Quick Cooker. Close the lid, push a button, and viola! Dinner was ready in no time at all.

Quick Cooker Oktoberfest

I finally had a chance to make my family the Quick Cooker One-Pot Oktoberfest dinner. I had everything on hand except the BEER! Who would’ve imagined. After a quick trip being chauffeured to the liquor store by my driver-in-training, it was game on! I very much enjoyed the meal, but not everyone was a fan after hearing about how Sausage was made in school. Oh well, more for me!

Chicken Dinner

Tonight we had a Fried Chicken Dinner just like my mom used to give us when I was growing up. It was complete with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Coleslaw and a Biscuit.

Ham & Mashed Potatoes

For dinner, we made Ham & Mashed Potatoes in our Quick Cooker and Diced Squash in the microwave. Sophie loves Quick Cooker Mashed Potatoes!

Anniversary Dinner

I started with a Hamilton Co. Smash, the official drink of Hamilton County, Indiana. We shared a Fried Goat Cheese Caprese appetizer, and while it was OK, I think I prefer to the the unfried mozzarella. For my entree, I ordered the Durango Ribeye served with garlic mashed potato, portobello, bleu cheese, tomato, spinach, bacon. It was a little more done than I preferred, but it was still tasty. For dessert, we shared a creme brûlée, which was simply amazing!

One-Pot Oktoberfest

Together, our team made Quick Cooker One-Pot Oktoberfest as well as Nacho Cheese Sauce in our Deluxe Cooking Blender. Both had rave reviews and were enjoyed even by the skeptics in the group. I *may* have added more beer than it called for, but the flavors were great. Who would have thought you could perfectly steam quartered potatoes and inch-long pieces of carrots in THREE minutes?

Labor Day BBQ

I had Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Corn Bread. It was amazing, but I just didn’t have room for our Peach cobbler. I guess I’ll have to eat that tomorrow!
