Feast courtesy of our girls

The girls made a feast for dinner tonight, and I was very thankful. I had Chicken Kiev, Air Fried Roasted Potatoes, Mac ‘N Cheese and Veggies. They do spoil us sometimes.

Tomato and Spinach Risotto with Chicken

I found a recipe online and gave it a go for dinner. With Morgan as tonight’s Sous Chef, I made Tomato and Spinach Risotto with Chicken in our Quick Cooker. The recipe didn’t call for chicken, but I had a craving and added a few frozen tenders. I received a thumbs up from everyone.

Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich

For dinner tonight, I fully enjoyed a Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich from Arby’s. It’s one of the seasonal delights I crave at the mention of its name. And, I don’t recall it ever disappointing me.

Almost a Grilled Chicken Sandwich

When it arrived, the shape seemed off to me. It was a wrap, which was no problem, but it was also Fried Chicken. However, the added surprise Bacon helped me make my risk assessment. You see, fried foods have not exactly been agreeing with me lately, but my daughter delivered it to me, and I was hungry. And, there was Bacon to help tip the scales. So, I ate it, and like most food, it tasted good to me. I just hope my body appreciates the sustenance and doesn’t throw a fit. We shall see!

Power Bowl for the Win!

Since Sophie is a huge Taco Bell fan, it was no surprise when she chose it for dinner. I had a Power Menu Bowl, and I think it was even tastier than I had hoped!

Apple Pecan Chicken Salad

I was craving some veggies today and found a satisfying meal that also had protein and fruit in it, too. I had an Apple Pecan Chicken Salad that my lifesaver Sophie picked up for me. I’m thankful she’s here.

Famous leftovers

After another long, hot day, we snacked on leftovers before heading to bed.
