When I made it home from work, dinner was already in the oven. We had Chicken & Broccoli Pasta. Then, we watched the season premier of Survivor and the season finale of Big Brother.
Mozzarella & Bruschetta Grilled Chicken with Balsamic Glaze
We made Mozzarella & Bruschetta Grilled Chicken with Balsamic Glaze. Jennifer and Sophie collected the spices, made the glaze and chopped the tomatoes. I took care of the chicken and putting it all together.
Homemade Nachos
Although Homemade Nachos may not sound super impressive, I actually made the sauce using fresh ingredients. Our new Deluxe Cooking Blender made it simple. The hardest parts were cutting the cheese block into cubes and removing the seeds and veins from the jalapeño. The rest was done with the push of a button.
Risotto Round 2
This was our second time making Quick Cooker Cheddar Broccoli Risotto with Chicken, and I think it was even better this time. Jennifer chopped the veggies and pressed the garlic, Sophie made sure we had just the right amount of broth, Morgan shredded the cheese, and I was chicken chopper and put it all together.
Anniversary Dinner
I started with a Hamilton Co. Smash, the official drink of Hamilton County, Indiana. We shared a Fried Goat Cheese Caprese appetizer, and while it was OK, I think I prefer to the the unfried mozzarella. For my entree, I ordered the Durango Ribeye served with garlic mashed potato, portobello, bleu cheese, tomato, spinach, bacon. It was a little more done than I preferred, but it was still tasty. For dessert, we shared a creme brûlée, which was simply amazing!
Kale-Infused Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Jennifer made an extra special version of her Meaty Spaghetti Sauce for dinner tonight. It was very tasty!
All the Way Little Cheeseburger
To celebrate National Cheeseburger Day, I popped over to Five Guys Burger & Fries to pick up dinner. I had an All the Way Little Cheeseburger and shared Large Fries with the Family. It was just as amazing as I remembered. I also brought home a dish of Peanuts!
Baked Chicken & Broccoli
Morgan then in a Baked Chicken & Broccoli meal. It was enough to fill the void and tasted pretty good.
Memorial Shepherd’s Pie
I made Shepherd’s Pie. This recipe included ground beef browned with an onion and a couple cloves of garlic, a can of sweet corn, a can of green beans and a can of tomato soup. Don’t tell my family, but I added a packet of our new Enrichables with Kale & Fiber. Added nutrition with no change in taste. I think almost everyone went back for seconds!
