Celebrating International Sushi Day

When I read that today was International Sushi Day, I was so excited! I’ve been craving the tasty treat for days. I knew exactly what I was getting and from where. I ordered a Hiro Roll from Hiro Hibachi Express and Sushi. It was even tastier than I remembered, and the Yum Yum Sauce was just as yummy as I remembered!

Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

Morgan whipped up a batch of Chicken Stir Fly using a frozen bag of Stir Fry Vegetables and a bag of Grilled Chicken Strips I picked up at Costco. She tossed everything in our Stainless Steel Nonstick Wok, and I added some Pampered Chef Teriyaki Sauce with Honey. I also made a batch Jasmine Rice in our Quick Cooker. It was a nice meal.

Father’s Day out

We started with a Fried Cauliflower starter, and for my entree, our waitress, Tiffany, suggested the Chicken Stir Fry, and I went for it. My side was Fried Mushrooms, and I don’t remember having any better … except when my brother sautéed some morels in butter.

Backwards Day

I did things a little backwards today. I started the day off with a Strawberry and Blueberry Salad with Mac ‘N Cheese, and for dinner, I had a bowl of cereal.

Lasagna Surprise

I worked late tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Lasagna ready for me when I finally made it home. I guess my family really does love me.

Rueben with a Pickle

We had an early dinner tonight. Jennifer and Sophie grabbed us some sandwiches from McAlister’s Deli, and I couldn’t resist the Rueben with a Pickle. I ordered a bag of chips, but they didn’t make it to the house. Instead, they brought me a Macadamia Cookie, and it was tasty.

Spaghetti & Meatballs

I wasn’t feeling well today, and my family made me Spaghetti and Meatballs using my famous meatball recipe with a slight Italian twist. It was yummy.

Chicken, Sausage and Veggie Sauté

We whipped up a simple and tasty dinner tonight. Grilled Chicken Breast Strips and Italian Sausage Sautéed with Red Bell Peppers and Onions. Then, I served it with a Side Salad with Chunky Guacamole, Salsa and Sour Cream.

Southwest Chicken Salad with Strawberry Cheesecake Dip

Tonight’s nibble was at my monthly Pampered Chef training. We made a couple new recipes from our Summer Fresh and Fun party. First we made a Strawberry Cheesecake Dip so it could chill while we were making the Southwest Chicken Salad. Both were easy to make and very tasty.

Panda Express After Our Drive

After driving home from Michigan, we were too tired to cook, but too hungry to just go to bed. So, Morgan and I took a run to Panda Express before they closed. I had Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken and Orange Chicken with a Spring Roll and Crab Rangoon.
