Barbecue Chicken Sandwich & Fries

After a very productive parallel-parking training session, we stopped by Wendy’s on the way home. Yes, that training can wear you out as both the driver and the trainer. I ordered their new Made To Crave Barbecue Chicken Combo with Fries and a Frosty! It was a little spicier than some in the family would prefer, but I thought it was tasty.

Pecanberry Salad

For dinner tonight, I had a Pecanberry Salad from McAlister’s Deli. It featured mixed greens, fresh strawberries and blueberries, candied pecans, grilled chicken and fat-free raspberry pecan vinaigrette. I thought it was mighty tasty.

Bacon King with Fries

More driver’s training practice after my day job. This time it included loops around an abandoned parking lot, parallel parking, and visits to the cleaners, car wash and Burger King drive-thru. I picked up a Bacon King with Fries.

Rotisserie Chicken with Macaroni Salad

While helping my daughter practice driving in a mostly empty parking lot, we popped into Meijer and picked up a Rotisserie Chicken and a container of Macaroni Salad. When we made it home safely, cooking was the last thing on my mind … especially when I realized it was only Tuesday and not Saturday.

Monday Night Spaghetti

Jennifer and Sophie had Spaghetti ready when I returned home from work. It was a welcome surprise after a busy day.

Sunday Night Roast

Tonight we made a Quick Cooker Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes, and it turned out perfectly! The roast was fall-apart tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy, garlic and buttery. The carrots we tender. And, it was all done in 45 minutes.

A Bowl of Life

After hours of practice with my two drivers-in-training, I was not feeling like cooking dinner. I actually wasn’t feeling very hungry. However, I needed to eat something so I wasn’t starving at bedtime. So, I poured myself a bowl of Life. It was just enough.

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Morgan did it again. She whipped up one of her favorites. Honestly, the whole family likes Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. It totally hit the spot after a extra busy day at the office.

Leftover time!

We cleared out the fridge by packing away some leftovers. I chose the Chicken Stir Fry with Rice. I still love my Round Covered Baker for leftovers. Food doesn’t get dried out in the microwave.

Thai Style Ginger Chicken

Morgan cooked us up some Thai Style Ginger Chicken for dinner tonight. She opened the frozen Stouffer’s bag and dumped it into our Wok. Before we knew it, viola! Dinner was served. This may be one of my favorite Frozen bag meals yet.
