Friday Night Spaghetti

The family was craving Spaghetti for dinner tonight. I didn’t complain about them wanting to cook.

Pork Chops & Acorn Squash

Ta-Da! A home cooked meal! I pan fried Pork Chops in our Stainless Steel Nonstick Skillet and used my new Instant-Read Food Thermometer to cook them to perfection. I drizzled Maple Syrup and Olive Oil on our sliced Acorn Squash before baking them.

Leftover BBQ

I arrived home from work hungry and decided to attack our leftover Brisket, Smoked Sausage, Baked Beans and Potato Salad. There wasn’t a lot left, but it filled up my tummy with yumminess!

Whopper time

I ate a Whopper with Cheese and all the fixins, a Large Coke and Large Fries. It had been awhile since I’ve had one, and it wasn’t bad (or, I was extra hungry). It also was much less messy than I remember seeing my dad deal with when I was little. Maybe my Whopper eating skills are just better.

Labor Day BBQ

I had Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Corn Bread. It was amazing, but I just didn’t have room for our Peach cobbler. I guess I’ll have to eat that tomorrow!

Homemade Potato Cheddar Soup

I broke out our new Deluxe Cooking Blender and made a batch of Potato Cheddar Soup. It was very easy to make, but the family gave it mixed reviews. I’ll have to make some tweaks when I try it again.

Leftover Meatloaf Spaghetti

I chose to make my own concoction out of two meals that my family wasn’t crazy about the first time around. I took my Hidden Veggie Marinara Spaghetti and added in the leftover Cheese-Stuffed, Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf. I chopped up the meatloaf and added a can of Roasted Tomatoes and some shakes of Crushed Peppercorn and Garlic Rub. It didn’t turn out too bad if I do say so myself!

Cheese-Stuffed, Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf

I made a Cheese-Stuffed, Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf. It took a lot longer to cook than the recipe called and wasn’t a flavorful as I had hoped, but it was pretty tasty. It I try it again, I’ll cook it on a rack so the bacon crisps up all around it. I added a few mini bell peppers to up my veggie count for the day.

Steak Fried Rice & Tuna Rolls

We ordered from Hiro Hibachi Express and Sushi. I chose Steak Fried Rice and Tuna Rolls with a couple Crab Wontons and a Spring Roll. Can’t forget the Yum Yum Sauce!

Quesadilla Explosion Salad

I ordered a Quesadilla Explosion Salad, which was different than I remembered. It was still good, but I thought it had more chips in it. I was impressed with the cheesiness of the quesadilla wedges.
