Spent a long day of driving home from Michigan today. I’m so wiped out. Maybe it’s my age getting the best of me. Sweet dreams, friends.

Asian Zalad
I fully enjoyed my Asian Zalad and its mini egg roll. In fact, I didn’t even need to add dressing. Then, I made us smoothies for dessert.
Whopper time
I ate a Whopper with Cheese and all the fixins, a Large Coke and Large Fries. It had been awhile since I’ve had one, and it wasn’t bad (or, I was extra hungry). It also was much less messy than I remember seeing my dad deal with when I was little. Maybe my Whopper eating skills are just better.
DQ FlameThrower
After a long day at work and a busy day for the family, I gave in and hit the Dairy Queen drive thru on my way home. I ordered a 1/2 lb FlameThrower GrillBurger Combo. I guess I didn’t read the “FlameThrower” part or notice the “jalapeño bacon” when I ordered it. I without a doubt did notice it when I scarfed it down. I didn’t fling it to the ground yelling “spicy” like my daughter would have, but I could taste the kick.
Barbecue Chicken Sandwich & Fries
After a very productive parallel-parking training session, we stopped by Wendy’s on the way home. Yes, that training can wear you out as both the driver and the trainer. I ordered their new Made To Crave Barbecue Chicken Combo with Fries and a Frosty! It was a little spicier than some in the family would prefer, but I thought it was tasty.
Bacon King with Fries
More driver’s training practice after my day job. This time it included loops around an abandoned parking lot, parallel parking, and visits to the cleaners, car wash and Burger King drive-thru. I picked up a Bacon King with Fries.
Road-Trip Tradition
As with most of our trips to Michigan, we stopped by McDonald’s to grab food on our way out of town. I ate my Two Cheeseburger Meal with Fries and a Coke.
Berry Fresh Grilled Chicken Salad
For dinner tonight I had a Berry Fresh Grilled Chicken Salad with a Light Berry Vinaigrette Dressing. It was pretty amazing after some of the not-so-healthy food I’m been sucking down lately.
Taco Bell After Party
I ate a XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito with a Crunchy Taco from Taco Bell for dinner. I hope I feel oK tomorrow.
Happy Friday
When you’re at work late before you pick up your teens from school and spend too much time in Party City, you drive by McDonald’s and grab some Avenger Happy Meals with a Captain America toy.
